My favorite so far is the gift samplers. I'm a tea lover who is still distinguishing between the subtleties of each one I order. What I love is that I can brew the tea so many times...and it holds its flavor and lovely aroma. I also find your attention to service accommodating and I always get what I order. Thanks!

I bought this sampler along with the book The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane as a gift. It was well received!

I'm really enjoying these teas. I drink them every day and many times put the leaves in the fridge at night to use the next day. I use the lidded tea filter cup.

I purchased a Tea Sampler of the ripe Pu-erh tea. The packaging was beautiful and the tea is delicious. The Sampler includes details about the different teas included in the Sampler, which is very nice and also has detailed brewing instructions. The package arrived promptly. I plan to purchase additional samplers as gifts.

To start our Bookclub season I chose Lisa See’s book and Bana teas to add to the experience. There were 20 of us & it’s still being talked about. Using the samplers, everyone had some tea to take home and then I used the larger cakes for the tasting. Along with a Dim Sum display that Trader Vic’s would have be proud of. I used improvised tea bags to avoid over steeping as I had several teapots but not gaiwan sets. It was a great cultural experience for all. You could really taste history in the teas. The members of our bookclub are older and well traveled, but few had enjoyed such an event. The teas and packaging were important and didn’t disappoint. Thank you Bana Tea for helping make this little get together so very special

This sampler was exactly what I was looking for, offering a range of delicious, good quality pu erhs.

As a showcase of ripe puerh, there's a lot of variety for an excellent price, and the older teas are a nice treat (I particularly liked the Chen Xiang). The selections overall can't be faulted, but there's only enough of every tea for one series of infusions each. That leaves little room for error or experimentation, which, for something specifically targeting novices, seems a bit self-defeating.
Our Response:
If you still have any samples left, you can divide the leaves into 2 servings. Use half of the leaves (4g) and steep in 5 oz of water. Repeat steeping the leaves to make more tea. This way you can try the tea twice.

I read the book The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See, which I loved. I have a friend for which I buy all kinds of tea and apparatus for birthday and Christmas. After reading the book, I wanted to buy the Pu-erh tea for her. I also like tea so I bought two of the samplers and I tried the tea along with my book club friends. It is wonderful tea and I was able to make several cups of tea from a small piece of the "tea cake". I'm glad the web link was in the book. Sheila, Decatur, Illinois.

We ordered both the raw and processed sample sets. They arrived quickly and in fine condition. The packaging was attractive, and the samples were described well.
This is a great opportunity to taste various pu-erhs side by side giving one a clear indication of the differences.
We will be ordering some of our favorites from the tasting comparison
Our Response:
Thank you so much for the nice review. We look forward to hearing from you again.

I'm going through the sample carefully savoring each sample, trying to determine which I like the best. It's hard because I like each sample. I may have to order the same set again.
Our Response:
The beauty of pu-erh is that you can have a different tasting tea every day and will never get bored.

I am always in search of well sourced tea and I’m thrilled with this selection. It is a perfect way to test the varieties and age differences. I will be placing an order for the full cakes once I can choose!

Sadly, I have not tried your product yet although it came very promptly. I ordered it to serve to my Book Club after our next meeting where we are to discuss “The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane? but due to the coved-19 restrictions, we have not been able to meet yet, so I will be holding onto the tea until we are together again. I know it will be a great celebration! ☕?
Our Response:
it will be a good time to celebrate when the pandemic is over.

I have tried a selection of ripe and raw Pu-erh teas and I now know that I prefer ripe Pu-erh tea. I was not disappointed with my sampler. There was one tea that was vintage 1994! These teas are easy and soothing to drink.
Our Response:
Yes, aged ripe pu-erh is very mellow and soothing.

I'm new to drinking pu'er tea, so this sampler was a great way to try different ripe pu'er teas. By far my favorite was the Chen Xiang with its complex savory flavor. My next favorites were Simply Classic, Sweet Rice Scent Ripe Pu'er (it tastes like sticky rice), and The Taste of Menghai. I did not like the Ruyi Ripe Cake, Golden Needle White Lotus, or Denong Wild Ripe Pu'er 2013. Overall, the broth-quality of ripe pu'er grew on me.
Our Response:
Glad you found several teas you like from the ripe sampler.
