This is another great tea produced by Denong Tea Factory. Broken from compressed tea cakes, this ripe Pu-erh is thick, brothy and savory. It finishes with a cooling sensation in your mouth that is similar to that left after having drunk Ginseng soup. The chest warming sensation is pleasant and relaxing. An excellent quality premium ripe Pu-erh.

Brewing guide
Use 5 grams of leaves per 6 oz of water. Brew with with 212 F degree water (100 C). Rinse prior to brewing.
RINSE: 1 second
1st BREW: 10 seconds
2nd BREW: 5 seconds
3rd BREW: 10 seconds
4th BREW: 20 seconds
5th BREW: 30 seconds
6th BREW: 40 seconds
7th BREW: 50 seconds
8th BREW: 1 minute

One of my favorite tea I purchase on this site. It's true to its description. And Denong always produces some excellent tea!This tea is good for rainy days or when not feeling well--it's great medicine. Good for gongfu or simply made in a thermos for the road.

There was a sample of this tea in one of my orders in the winter and when I tried it my thought was and continues to be, This is Real Tea, or what my concept of the perfect cup of tea should be.
