Vintage: 2011 Spring Harvest
Type: Ripe Pu-erh (fermented)
Grade: 2-4
Production area: Lincang Prefecture, Yunnan Province

Taste characteristics:
If you like the Chang-an Lucky Coins, you will like this Chang-an brick even more. This is a collector's edition because pressed leaves create a more stable aging condition for the leaves and are better able to retain their fragrance and character. This brick is made from old arbor trees and its production was closely supervised by Master Vesper Chan. The 2010 and 2011 editions of this tea have enjoyed great popularity in Hong Kong and China. Smooth and rich, this tea offers a bold full body with a subtle sweet aftertaste that lasts up to 10 infusions. This tea possesses all the necessary elements to be aged into a fine ripe Pu-erh tea in the coming years.

This tea brick is pressed tightly and requires some effort to break. Those who undertake the excavation will find a surprise waiting inside.

Bamboo Gift Box Available
For an additional $10, Bana is offering a lovely bamboo gift box made specifically for the Chang-an Brick. The lid is embellished with a handsome design. The lustrous box makes a perfect presentation for gift giving. Box cannot be sold separately.

This is my favorite

By Carolyn W
This may be my all tine favorite tea. I bought every last box of the 2010 loose tea, and have stocked up on the Lucky Coins. This tea has great flavor, lasts many steeps, and just makes me feel good. I know it is not cheap, but it really is a bargain at this price.
Our Response:

Thank you for the nice review. I will let Master Chan know you are a big fan of his Chang-an Ripe Pu-erh.
