Made with early spring leaves from arbor trees, this tea is thick, full-bodied and smooth. From the aroma of the dry leaves, to the well-balanced flavors and the fragrance lingering at the bottom of the cup, this tea represents a well-blended and well-crafted tea. This tea offers quick "hui gan" (return sweetness) and comfortable "qi" (energy). It is with great anticipation that 2016 Commemorative Raw will age to an excellent tea in a few years. Brewing guide

Use 5 grams of leaves in 6 oz pot or cup. Brew with 205 F degree water (95 C).

Aging well

This raw puerh from 2016 is a very high quality tea. Made with leaves from older trees and processed in a very clean environment under expert supervision. The tea is smooth, excellent mouth and throat feeling and comfortable in the body. For a tea at this price point, it remains a very good opportunity to drink as well as age for many years to come.

Really nice

Awesome flavor, I brew it pretty heavy handed and it seems to just come out rounder and more bold, it does not seem to mind high leaf ratio or longer steeps. Also I like the picking quality. The cake is compressed perfectly for me, breaks apart nicely and leaves stay intact.

When I am away from home visiting friends or family, I will bring this tea because the large intact leaves are good for grandpa style brewing i think or more western style, they will not make a mess!

This tea also makes me feel clarified or balanced or something, never feel buzzy or uncomfortable.

I have heard that puer in the "adolescent years" like between 5-10 years old is no good, I have not experienced that especially not with this tea!

Great daily drinker

This is a really nice tea for a daily drinker. It has some a little age mellowing it out so it is easy on the stomach and full of flavor.
