Made with early spring leaves from arbor trees, this tea is thick, full-bodied and smooth. With hints of smoke and spice, and a lingering fruity-sweetness, this tea offers complex yet well-balanced flavors and an alluring fragrance at the bottom of the cup. This tea offers quick "hui gan" (return sweetness) and vibrant "cha qi" (tea energy). It is with great anticipation that Denong Debut will age to pure excellence. Stock up while it lasts.

Use 5 grams of leaves in 6 oz pot or cup. Brew with 205 F degree water (95 C).
RINSE: 1 second

6th BREW: 30 seconds

Great taste. I will continue with Denong Debut 2016 Raw Pu-erh Tea. My favorite Pu-erh teas have all come from the Xishuangbana Prefecture.

This is a really nice tea for a daily drinker. It has some a little age mellowing it out so it is easy on the stomach and full of flavor.
You cannot go wrong with this tea. It is drinkable now and is expected to age well in time.
Awesome flavor, I brew it pretty heavy handed and it seems to just come out rounder and more bold, it does not seem to mind high leaf ratio or longer steeps. Also I like the picking quality. The cake is compressed perfectly for me, breaks apart nicely and leaves stay intact. When I am away from home visiting friends or family, I will bring this tea because the large intact leaves are good for grandpa style brewing i think or more western style, they will not make a mess!This tea also makes me feel clarified or balanced or something, never feel buzzy or uncomfortable. I have heard that puer in the "adolescent years" like between 5-10 years old is no good, I have not experienced that especially not with this tea!
How tea ages depend a lot on the quality of the leaves. High-quality teas never have a bad phase. Thanks for the glowing review.
I’m a pu’erh tea drinker with no experience, but I know what I like, and I do love the 2016 Commemorative Raw P Tea. It soothes my stomach and my mood. I do recommend it highly.

This raw puerh from 2016 is a very high quality tea. Made with leaves from older trees and processed in a very clean environment under expert supervision. The tea is smooth, excellent mouth and throat feeling and comfortable in the body. For a tea at this price point, it remains a very good opportunity to drink as well as age for many years to come.
