If you are seeking the pinnacle of black tea, look no further than this exquisite blend produced by Tea Master Chan. Crafted from rare purple buds from old-growth tea trees in spring, this tea is a true botanical rarity as purple tips appear in only a small percentage of tea trees. Research indicates that in high altitude regions, some tea leaves develop a purple hue as a natural defense against intense sunlight.
The aroma of this tea fills the room the moment the leaves meet hot water. Not only is the tea delicious, but it offers an exceptionally smooth and rich texture that envelops your mouth. After drinking, a cooling and comforting sensation lingers in the throat, inviting a further savoring sip.
Due to the high-quality leaves used in its production, this tea can be steeped 10-12 times without losing its distinctive character. It is no surprise that this tea was chosen as the official VIP gift at the First Hong Kong Performing Arts Exhibition in October 2024.

Purple black tip tea is rich yet smooth with a pleasant finish. Great cup!
Thank you for your nice feedback - we appreciate it very much
The description of this tea is spot on I just received this tea and as soon as I added the hot water this wonderful fragrance rose from my cup. I went back to read the description because I can't pinpoint if it is citrus or some other fruit. The taste is intoxicating. Absolutely one of the most outstanding black/red teas I've ever drank. The color of the tea is a beautiful amber color.Any fan of black teas this is a must try
Thank you, Laura, for your wonderful review. I don't drink black tea much, but I keep going back to this one. My friend and famous author, Lisa See, described it as 'sublime.'
This is a very smooth and more more mellow Hong cha. Nice and relaxing but slightly uplifting without being overwhelming. The taste is refined and elegant in a way. Well made from purple tea trees.
Thank you for your nice review. So well said - this tea is 'refined and elegant.'
