Tuo cha is a shape of pressed Pu-erh tea with a long history. It is compact and convenient for travel (see our blog post about tuo cha). This tea evokes the classic flavors of the tea horse road. It is robust, with notes of smoke and spice. A rugged tea for a long journey ahead.
Brewing guide
Use 5 grams of tea in a small pot. Brew with boiling water.
Rinse: 5 seconds to allow the leaves to open
Brew: 10-20 seconds for the first 4 brews, 20-30 seconds for brew 5 & 6, then continue adding 10-20 seconds each brew.
