Wonderful Tea

By Kristy Smith
This tea is perfect for me. I enjoy it every morning. Purchasing from Bana Tea Company is a good online experience. My tea is usually waiting in the mail within two days. I will order again.
Our Response:

Thank you so much for the nice review. It speaks a thousand words!

Sweet Clarity

By Cha Kaula
I'm not a good judge of any complexities or nuances of RAW Pu'erh (what's with the added h and hyphen anyway... so pretentious). The few emails with Linda Louie have been great... the packaging, advertising, and marketing are superb. The pomp and circumstance, even if it is traditional doesn't seem to be able to sustain a strong foothold in America. I like RIPE even knowing that it's process began in Kunming and perfected in MengHai in 1973 was more artificially accelerated... still appeals to me and I suspect/ sense the American palate. Besides, the American behavior patterns in tea consuming is not geared to tea tasting with every house guest. Aloha
Our Response:

Ripe pu-erh will be your choice of pu-erh! As to the hyphen and the apostrophe, they are used solely to separate the syllables as Chinese words are of single syllables. I agree, the "h" is not necessary.

Sweet Clarity!

By Deb MB
I am very new to Pu-erh tea. This is my third tea of the sampler selections. I am enjoying this one a lot! I am starting to understand the amount of tea to water and the difference between the amount for ripe vs. raw. Obviously I know almost nothing yet! When I opened this tea the smell reminded me slightly of my grandfather's pipe tobacco--just in a gentle sweetness. I am on my first 10 second cup and am enjoying a gentle, sweet flavor I'm excited to keep trying the different brew times but have to be patient with each cup or I will miss half of the fun. I've tried Bana Limited Edition Raw and Denong Red Label Ripe. So far, I think I like this best. But I am so new. I'll find out more in the next months/years. Thank you for such a wonderful and welcoming tea experience!
Our Response:

I am so glad you are having fun with the tea and taking the time to appreciate the nuances pu-erh tea has to offer. Thanks for taking the time to share your tea experience with us.

Another sip please!

By Kathy L.
I find myself reaching for this 2015 Sweet Clarity on mornings I can't decide which tea to start my day. It has just the right balance of bitter cooling for that wake up punch (not too much, quite subtle, but enough) and return sweetness; in fact, somewhat of a latent or delayed return sweetness that keeps calling you back for another sip. Which is so true to the description, you are definitely not satisfied with just one cup.
Our Response:

Good teas always call you back for more. Thank you for sharing your experience with Sweet Clarity.

an excellent first pu-erh experience

By Terry93D
sometime ago I and my boyfriend moved in together. earlier this month we agreed to order one of the fancy teapots, as well as the 7-tea sampler, as a "homewarming" gift. this marks a first experience with pu-erh for both of us ? and what an excellent first experience! a gentle, smooth tea. the real pleasure was watching the flavor change. notes of coconut began to emerge, then disappeared. a couple brews had a cooling aftertaste almost akin to mint. we steeped nine times; the ninth, we steeped for one minute at 190, at which point dark, rich notes of chocolate appeared. extremely pleasurable and unique experience, which we look forward to repeating with the other teas of the sampler!
Our Response:

So glad to know you and your boyfriend had such enjoyable experience with your first try of pu-erh tea. You will find more surprises as you move through the sampler.

Great daily tea

By Carolyn W
This tea is really good quality at an everyday tea price. Sweet and powerful, it will continue to age and get even better.
Our Response:

This tea is made by the same maker in the same year as the 2016 Commemorative Raw Pu-erh. The difference is that the trees from which this cake was made were younger than the commemorative cake. It is a good tea nonetheless.

Description is spot on!

By Tsuh
Just received my order and immediately started a tea session. The description provided is spot on. This tea has a nice silky and thick mouthfeel with a very sweet fragrance. Huigan begins around the 3rd infusion and keeps growing. Amazing tea and an even more amazing purchasing experience. Will definitely order more in the near future.
Our Response:

Thank you so much for such a nice review. We appreciate your kind words and votes of confidence of our products and service.
