Production area: Anxi, Fujian Province, China

Red-Core Tieguanyin is grown from a cultivar where the buds and accompanying leaves possess a reddish hue. This tea is cultivated in the high mountains of Anxi Province, the home of the original tieguanyin tea.

This tea embodies the rustic and unrefined style of classic tieguanyin without the removal of the stems. The tea broth is elegant and silky, offering flavors reminiscent of jasmine and orchid. What sets this tea apart from other lesser-quality tieguanyin is its full-bodied texture and long-lasting aftertaste. Each sip leaves an abundance of flavors that fill your mouth with a pleasant cooling sweetness.

Cold brew it to make a delicious and refreshing iced tea in the hot summer months.

Confused

By Susana Funsten
I have followed all the instructions on the package about how to brew the tea I purchased. I have to say I am "underwhelmed." So, unless I am doing a lot of things wrong, I do not think that what I paid for this tea was worth it.
Our Response:

I am sorry this tea did not meet your expectations. We will reach out to you to discuss the tea and perhaps adjust the brewing time. Thank you for letting us know.

Excellent

This tea has a great floral scent and a delicate light green color. Will definitely reorder.
Our Response:

So glad you like this tea so much, and thank you for your reordering of this tea. Cheers!

Unique oolong

By robert zanella
This was the first time i ordered this type of oolong. The leaves are attached to long stems and I found it easier to remove the leaves first and then brew. The tea itself is very flavorful and has a pleasant aroma in the bag. It has a red hue to the tea after brewed. Will continue to purchase in the future
Our Response:

The Red-core Tieguanyin also comes in one without stems, but the price is higher because of the labor costs to remove the stem. The stem actually brings more sweetness to the tea, even though they look kind of messy. :)
