This gift pack consists of 30g of Denong Debut Raw Pu-erh and 30g of Denong Debut Ripe Pu-erh. It provides a good introduction to the varied flavors of Pu-erh tea. The two teas are packaged in our beautiful tea boxes, perfect holiday and all-occasion gift!
For those new to Pu-erh, or looking to expand their knowledge, Pu-erh tea comes in two "flavors": raw (sheng or non-fermented) and ripe (shu or fermented). This gift set offers the rare opportunity to taste both side by side. In fact, it offers the same tea in both raw and ripe forms.
Denong Debut is a 2016 harvest tea, pressed into 100 gram cakes of both raw and ripe Pu-erh.

I bought this for myself since I wanted to sample both ripe and raw Pu-erh teas. When I received it, I was impressed with the presentation. The box is beautiful and inside, each type of tea is in it's own beautiful box. I found I like the ripe tea over the raw tea. This was the point of the purchase. I also learned how to brew each type and feel I've had a good introduction to this wonderful tea. I would be proud to give this gift pack to any of my friends who I feel would appreciate the tea. It is very aesthetic and is obviously put together with care. I am looking forward to diving deeper into this ancient tea which I have come to really enjoy. I feel energized yet calm after I've had a few cups and use it first thing in the morning. Thank you Bana Tea Company for introducing a high quality Pu-erh tea to those of us living outside of China.

After reading Lisa See’s book Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane, I wanted to try puerh tea. Was so delighted by the packaging of this sampler set! Was also surprised how little you to brew. — I’m estimating being able to get 10 servings per brick. And each serving can get me at least 5-6 re-steeps!
So glad you have so much fun brewing multiple steeps of the leaves. Yes, pu-erh tea goes a long way!
