Savory sweet jelly candy.
The taste was a mystery the first four or five infusions. Then the last infusions kept getting sweeter and savory crisp clean. Reminded me of those sweet soft jelly candies one good tea.

Took a leap and Bana caught me
Cheeky title aside, have only had the cakes from the starter kit on here. Years later started drinking tea again and ran out of those. With no idea other than having a budget, tried this cake. I’m not able to give you a description that will transport you to a simpler time from childhood, but this tea is good. Worth the money and time it took me to make that money. Bright flavors and leaves behind a cooling sensation. If you have a taste for raw puerh, chances are you’ll like it. Bana always takes care of me and I appreciate it!

Balanced
Wonderfully balanced tea. The aroma gives off a candy like sweetness right from the wash. Thick and silky mouthfeel with a very smooth finish. My favorite aspect of this tea is the very pleasant and fleeting bitterness followed by an immediate hui gan. Very hard to find a tea of this quality for the price. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Good for all seasons
It has a very interesting flavor that is slightly bitter at first and then surprisingly sweet. It almost reminds me of chocolate or sweet licorice. I've never had tea quite like it before. Thank you!

Is good
I have enjoyed all the teas I hav tried but this has been one of my least favorite ones, still good but not comparable to some of the others

Beautiful tea
I received this as part of the sampler and really enjoyed this one! The description is accurate- a lovely morning tea to enjoy. Energizing and invigorating. Very good feeling from this one. Definitely one to get a cake or two for me. Everything I enjoy about younger shengs.
Also fyi I followed the brewing temp and time parameters as outlined and I think it really helped this tea shine. However I used 1g of tea per 20ml of water.
