Taste characteristics:
High quality aged ripe Pu-erh is increasingly rare these days. This thirty-plus-year-old Pu-erh is indeed a rare find. Lacking of the earthiness that is typical of a ripe Pu-erh, this tea, instead, possesses a bouquet of antique and herbaceous scents, characteristic that are only present in well-aged Pu-erh teas. The dark amber brew is translucent, but dense, much like an aged red wine.

Brewing guide

Use 5 grams of leaves in 6 oz pot or cup. Brew with 212 F degree water (100 C).

I can see why this tea gets such great reviews. This is a high quality tea that is very clean with a smooth rich taste. I find the aroma to be pleasing and mild. the lotus and herb aroma is delicate and pleasant. The tea is very approachable for anyone into pu erh or wanting to experience a higher quality of aged pu erh.
