Vintage: 2015 Spring Harvest
Weight: 100 gram cake (3.5 oz)
Type: Raw Pu-erh (unfermented)
Production area: Pasai, Lancang County, Yunnan Province

Pasai is one of the most remote and lesser known tea producing regions in Lancang County of Yunnan. This tea is made of leaves from trees that are over 200 years old. After brewing this tea, an immediate aroma of yuzu fruit perfumes the air. This delightful and unique characteristic carries through to the flavor, where the distinct notes of yuzu are found in the cup. Astringency is negligible, even in a strong brew. Mouth feel is soft and silky, leaving a natural and refreshing sensation across the palate and throat. This is a very special tea.

Brewing guide

Use 4 grams of leaves in 6 oz pot or cup. Brew with 205 F degree water (95 C).

Great for an afternoon.

I like this tea more every time I drink it. So many flavors!! Lovely in the morning or afternoon.

This cake is very popular and I don't have a lot left. I wish I had stashed away more of it.

Wonderful Surprise!

Having never tried a Pasai area puer before, this tea was a wonderful surprise! It has a refreshingly unique aroma and florals that lingers in your mouth brew over brew. The body of the tea is complex and develops well throughout. It is smooth, sweet but has a bite of wildness in it. Never a boring moment when tasting this tea. I see why they named this tea the Enchanting Beauty. I enjoyed every brew! It is definitely a puer worth trying if you are looking for something a bit different from the more common Yiwu or Lincang region teas. I'm sure this

Thank you for such a nice review. Yes, I really enjoy the bite of this tea.

Taste of Ginger

This delicious tea cake was personally recommended by Linda Louie, whom I spoke with by phone. New to the taste and purchase of raw pu-erh, I was unfamiliar with the gallery of teas offered by Bana Tea Company. Ms. Louie suggested Enchanting Beauty with its taste of ginger. It's a tea to drink now and savor for the future.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know your feedback - we appreciate it very much.

Great tea!

The description is very accurate, great quality tea. I tried only once this winter, and decided to save for summer--just personal energetic preference.

This tea is one of my favorite raw pu-erh.
