It has been widely recognized throughout history that the finest tea grows in pristine forests amid rocks and boulders. This type of environment imbues the tea with vital minerals and nutrients. This year, the minerality ("yan yun", which translate to rock charm) is exceptionally prominent, making this tea all the more remarkable and distinctive.

What sets this tea apart is its deep and reserve characters. It lacks any grassy or astringent notes that are often found in young pu-erhs. Instead, after a few sips, the gan sensation emerges, leaving a long-lasting finish that entices one to savor the tea before taking another sip. Moreover, the tea's body-feel is truly exceptional. It relaxes the body and settles the mind, offering a temporary escape from the stresses of everyday life.

This tea is available in two forms: pressed and loose.  The loose leaves included in the 100 gram size are the original non-pressed leaves that went into making the cakes.  This is a great opportunity to compare the loose leaves to the pressed leaves.  The 50 gram size is broken from the cake.  Try them side by side now, and order some of each to store, to experience the difference between aging loose leaves and aging a pressed cake.

Amazing sheng Puerh. It's so light and refreshing. Almost.no bitterness. You can feel the mountain qi and nourishing yin aspect of the tea.
Our Response:

Thank you. Yes, you can taste and feel the minerality of this tea. It is particularly prominent in this year's edition.

My new favorite

By Sylvan Schneider
My new favorite raw Puerh. Out of a few hundred raw Puerh teas that I’ve tried this one would be in my top 3 most memorable teas. The taste and cooling sensation is excellent. I really like how this tea tastes, reminds me of high mountains with waterfalls. I easily get 8 flavorful steeps out of 5 grams. Really glad I purchased this tea, highly recommended. The tea gives you a clear focus and medium stimulation. I felt the cooling sensation in my throat for an hour after I drank it which is something I’ve never experienced before, I enjoyed the sensation. Get this tea!
