Vintage: 2019 Spring Harvest
Type: Ripe Pu-erh (fermented)
Grade: 1-3
Production area: Menghai, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province

Taste characteristics:
Using leaves picked from tea trees between 100 to 200-years-old, and adding an infusion made from Agarwood and Sweet Rice Scent Leaf, this tea is smooth and mellow without the strong earthy taste that is typical in young ripe pu-erhs. The addition of Agarwood and Sweet Rice Scent Leaf offers a sweet and woodsy finish, contributing to a feeling of calm and contentment.

“2019” and “Still Love You” are homophones in Mandarin. Master Vesper Chan produced this tea to express his gratitude to his supporters for the past 30 years since he started his tea business.

Like a nice red wine

By Neal Perrin
The first thing that I noticed was the scent of a nice red wine. After putting the dry leaves in my heated up gaiwan. Very pleasant and tasty glad I purchased the other cake.
Our Response:

Thank you for the nice review. I am glad I've stocked up on this tea also.

A beautiful tea that's a joy to drink

By Colette Bennett
I just started my journey into discovering Pu-erh teas last year, and Still Love You is one of the best ones I have tried by far. Not only is the tea itself delicious and full-bodied, but you can steep this tea many times in a session and get a rich flavor. The Sweet Rice aspect is gentle and very pleasant. This cake is also extremely affordable, especially for its quality!
Our Response:

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your kind feedback. This tea is rich, yet well-balanced between the leaves, the agarwood, and the sweet rice scent leaves.

Bana has wonderful tea!

By Joyce Czarny
I have been through 1.5 of these tea cakes and have another one to pleasure through too -- Pu-erh Tea is balancing. I enjoy this tea cake very much. Still Love You is an appropriate name and the taste is very mellow. I bought three of these!
Our Response:

It brings a smile on my face to know that I have a tea that you like so much.

A must have Pu Erh for my collection

By Dale D Ehrenberg
On my second 100gr cake. And I still love it too!

It's rich liquor has that earthy, mushroom meaty flavor with a trace of dark stone fruits and cut grass. The nose presents damp earth and forest after a rain plus cut hay along with hints of stone fruits and a dark caramel.

While this tea might not take you on a trip of introspection and exploration, it's a warm and comforting embrace that repeatedly draws you back sip after sip and cup after cup.

Love Still Love You

By Marianne Jordan
I ordered this tea at the recommendation of the author of the Teagirl of Hummingbird Lane and I am so glad I did! It is delicious and light just as described. It seems as authentic as the tea described in Lisa See's novel. Thank you.
Our Response:

So glad to hear you enjoyed this tea so much.

Ripe Pu-erh

By Yvonne Chang

Our Response:

Thank you, Yvonne, for the nice review.

Another Sweet Rice Leaf Ripe Pu'er

By Margo Krindel
This tastes a lot like the Sweet Rice Scent Ripe Pu'er also sold by Bana, probably because Sweet Rice Scent Leaf is one of the ingredients, though the 'sweet rice' texture is less thick in this one. Personally, I prefer either the fuller texture of the 'Sweet Rice Scent' pu'er or the ripe pu'ers without 'sweet rice scent' but I appreciate this tea for adding variety to my pu'er collection. It's nice to drink a pu'er that's different.
Our Response:

In addition to "sweet rice leaf," this tea is also blended with Agarwood. That's why the sweet rice scent is less thick in this one. Glad you enjoy having more variety to your pu-erh collection.

when I was younger I wanted to try mud cakes with actual mud. not that chocolate nonsense. here is a tea that satisfies me. it is like the best tasting, softest mud gathered by a forest junkie who really knows their stuff.

mild, damp earth, hermit juice, very comfortable
Our Response:

What a story! This tea contains Agarwood, which is very calming.

Looks nice; taste, cold, aroma TBD

With respect to deliver and package look/name, it's a 5/5. If possible, will update taste, etc. after I have a session with this tea. Thanks.
Our Response:

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your first impression. Hope to hear more after your tea session.
