Green Tea

Green tea (lü cha, 绿茶) is made by heating freshly harvested tea leaves to halt enzymatic oxidation, preserving much of the fresh character of the leaf. Different cultivars, growing regions, and processing methods can produce teas ranging from fresh and vegetal to floral, nutty, savory, sweet, and richly aromatic.
