Type: Raw Pu-erh (unfermented) Grade: Premium Production area: Baiying Mountain, Lincang County, Yunnan Province
Taste characteristics: Baiying Mountain in Lincang is home to thousands of acres of old-growth tea gardens. The leaves of this tea were picked from these naturally grown ancient tea trees (many as old as 1000-years-old). The dry leaves of this tea are thinner and darker than other pu-erh tea leaves because of a special variety native to this mountain called Black Strip (hei tiaozi). This tea is silky and soft, yet intense and complex. It is one of those rare teas that causes one to want to be alone, allowing the tea to transport one to a faraway place where a gentle spring breeze blows and daily stress falls away. This tea will beckon you back again and again.
Just finished a cake08/21/2024 BySylvan Schneider Just finished this lovely cake. I enjoyed this tea, so very refreshing and clean. The description of “pristine” would come to mind when drinking this tea and I found it to be relaxing with a sense of good focus. Definitely a cooling tea for hot days, it helped me to cool off when drinking it. Very high quality tea that I was happy with. Our responseThank you. Just so you know - this is one of my favorite pu-erh teas too!
Simply Wonderful09/13/2019 ByNeal Perrin So glad to have purchased this puerh. Vesper is truly a master what a great tea. Hope to buy more in the near future. Our responseI shared your comments with Master Chan. He was very pleased. Master Chan is tireless when it comes to searching for good tea. He once told me his biggest asset is his discerning palate.
