Type: Raw Pu-erh (unfermented) Grade: Premium Production area: Lincang, Yunnan Province
Taste characteristics: The Chan’s Thousand Charm Collector’s Edition series is the most exclusive line among the tea produced by Tea Master Vesper Chan. What sets this cake apart from others is the leaf source. Every spring, Master Chan personally travels to Lincang to select the best leaves from very old tea trees. This tea has been in production since 2007 and its quality and aging potential are undeniable. Last year, the 2008 edition of this tea competed and won the highest score in the “10-year Mid-stage Pu-erh Competition” in China. The 2011 edition is also aging very well and is highly sought-after by our customers. This tea is incredibly clean, brisk, and balanced, and has a gentle and lasting hui gan (cooling sensation in the mouth). The aroma lingers at the bottom of the cup long after the tea is drunk. This tea has great aging potential and appreciation value - a must-add to your pu-erh collection.
