Tea leaves are placed inside the infuser, hot water is added and the cover is placed over the infuser. When the tea has been brewed for the appropriate period of time, the lid is turned over and placed onto the table surface. The infuser is lifted to enable the brewed tea to drain into the pitcher. After the tea has drained, the infuser is placed into the waiting lid. The tea can then be poured into the double-walled tea cups for imbibing.
